Grrrrr!

So I was about to create an amazing pist dedicated to my one true love (one of my many one true loves) Jack Bauer, yes the one from the tv show 24, until I was rudely attacked by some virus. I know my computer is a dinosaur in computer years, but I've had it since college and the old boy has withstood many a hard night, staying up with this insomniac until the wee hours. Its been with me thru papers, fights, breakup, its been there. So naturally we have quite the bond. So I'm PISSED that some dumbass created some stupid virus that is making my life difficult. I've spent the past 2 hrs trying to figure out what is going on. My poooooor computer is just suffering. It sounds like its been running thousands of miles. And of course I have to be up early. Ughhhh I'm going to be a zombie tomorrow! Hopefully by morning one of the 832306539 anti virus programs I have going will have fixed the problem. If not Jameson (my phones name for all of you that don't know) here will keep me connected to the blog world!

Sweet Dreams.

Bedtime Stories

So I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep because I've got to get up early for work. Boooo! Anywho, tonight was the Golden Globes and for the most part I agree with almost all the winners. I'm undecided with Avatar because I've been too busy to fit in a 3 hour movie into my schedule. I actually really do want to see it, but I'm so enamored with the genius that is Quentin Tarantino that its hard for me to believe he shouldn't have one for best director or best dramatic movie. Whatever HFP. Atleast they gave Christoph Waltz the win, this unknown (to the us) gave an amazing performace and so deserved it, I think he deserves the golden man too, but that's not quite here yet. I'm beyond glad that the Hangover won. Its about time funny movies that don't really have a moral to it and is just there to entertain and entertain well get some credit. Wayyyy overdue. Yeah Mo'Nique, love that lady. Wooo for Sandy Bullock, loved loved LOVED her in The Blindside (freaking amazing movie by the way). So happy for Glee, wished it could have been a tie with Modern Family but Glee edged them a little I'll chalk it up to length of show (hint hint Modern Family should be an hour Fox). So glad it broke the 30 rock streak. Jane Lynch was robbed. I hate Chloe Sevjgiyy (I can't pronounce her name and don't want to try or learn how to spell it), this one I was pissed about. I don't watch any of the shows other then Glee that were up for best actress, so I was sad that Lea Michelle didn't win. John Lithgow as Trinity Killer was flawless and frankly destroyed any competition this year. Michael C. Hall looked weird with his hat thing can someone please explain that to me, but obviously he was my fav and pick to win. Blahhh Mad Men, not a bad show, its just not my fav. I loved all the cracks everybody took at NBC for their Leno debacle (team Conan over here). And I've also decided I have a major crush on Joseph Gordon Levitt, college made that boy get so cute. Seriously what has happened to him since 10 things, which I realize was such a long time ago but after 500 days omg with his deeper voice and getting rid of his boyish looks, I'm liking him. I hope he's not gay! Allllright I must go to bed. Because I have 3 hours of 24 tomorrow. I know gasp I didn't watch it tonight but I'm trying to be responsible and not be up ALL night!

Night kiddies.

Teachings From Iraq

Ohhhhh! I totally forgot... so my most favorite person in the whole wide world is serving our country in the Army and has just gone (just meaning 2nd week in December just) on his first tour over in Iraq. Oh my favorite person is my cousin Nick... forgot to add that... wait I'll add an embarrassing photo of him when I paraded him around some bars telling everyone he was leaving to fight for our freedom, a freedom fighter if you will, and they must buy him drinks. And by the way that's his sexy pose... hehehe jk jk! Anywho, I figured he is getting bombarded with emails from our family... long winded wanting lengthy responses emails from our family, so I've decided to send him sweet nothings. Or just I'm more annoying and send him one liners, which have received many responses. Well done me. So I shall share with you the wisdoms I am learning from my Freedom Fighter.

1. My cousin will become BA (badass) like Liam Neeson from the movie taken. *note* he claims he already is... but I think he still needs some work.

2. We decided if his brother was in a band he would play the key-tar, wear a key-tie, and also play the triangle and cowbell.

3. The army does not use peeling potatoes as a punishment anymore. (that one did bring disappointment finding out)

4. My cousins favorite colors are green, blue, gray, and black.

Hehehehe... so I promise to find out more cool things specifically about the army like the potato peeling bit... thats shocking right... because you all don't really know my cuz and get the inside jokes. It'll be fun. Plus it makes me feel good getting to hear from him, knowing I'm making him chuckle at my randomness.

To any of you reading that also has a loved one in the services, my heart is with you and those troops are in my prayers. Its a brave thing they are all doing and I know my world is a better place with them in it.

Peace. Love. Hope.

Your love is my drug...

So I haven't changed a bit... I'm still super obsessed with anything that is designed to peak a teenage girl's interest. Right now my new super obsession is with Ke$ha. I don't even care that she has a stupid dollar sign in her name... which I do know the background story of... thank you Perez (another obsession)... but her songs just are amazing. Check them out, seriously, right now. Your love is my drug is on constant repeat in my car right now. Give it another week and I may have moved on to another track.

And you can't forget about Justin Bieber either... who oddly enough looks like my 13 year old little brother... who oddly enough bought me that cd for my birthday last month. So I've moved on from his cd, but do not mistake that for my love dwindling... it has not and he still holds a special place in my heart... that insanely talented lil devil!

Peace out lovers.

New Year, New Thoughts

Okay Okay Okay... its been a hot second. Alright a lot longer then a hot second. And to be honest I just hit a really dark moment in my life, where I couldn't pretend to be happy about really anything anymore. I've been making a lot of changes, and still looking around each corner to make new ones. My smile is coming back, and I'm becoming me again. I still have work to do, but who doesn't right? Alright enough of the deep stuff. I'm just saying I'm back and I plan on slathering my pages with more obsessions about things which I'm too grown for, random thoughts about the most mundane things, and maybe even a new tune or two.

Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me... and I'm feeling goooood!
